How it works

  • Choosing your piece

Resin: When first selecting your epoxy resin piece, think of the size of your bouquet and the general arrangement (compact or spread out). Large bouquets are perfect for tables, serving trays, or large blocks. Small bouquets are ideal for book ends, small trays, and accessory items. Flowers can also be broken up into multiple pieces to make special ‘thank you’ gifts! Next, consider if you want your piece to be functional or solely decorative.

Frame: Frames are a great way to display your favorite flowers.

  • Sending your flowers

Preserving flowers is an extensive process and requires flowers to be at their peak to maintain quality and color. If you know the date of your event, arrange to ship out your flowers immediately after for overnight shipping. Flower stems should be bundled together, wrapped with damp paper towels to keep hydrated, and secured with aluminum foil. Choose a large enough box to place the bouquet onto a bed of tissue paper on all sides

  • Flower Drying Process

Drying 3D flowers for resin is a delicate process and the flowers must be 100% void of moisture to prevent molding or decomposition inside the resin. This process can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks depending on the flowers. Flowers will be treated with a UV resistant sealant post drying to add that extra layer of protection to the color.

Pressing flowers for resin or frames is a labor of love. Each flower must be carefully handled, taken petal by petal, and often full reconstructed once fully pressed. This process can take anywhere between 2-5 weeks depending on the size of the bouquet and flower type. Because many flowers change color when pressed, we offer color correction to restore the desired vibrancy.

  • Pour Process

Epoxy resin has a mind of its own. Different flowers can take epoxy resin better than others too! Some flowers become translucent. We try our best to manage mistakes, air bubbles and other mishaps, but like art- we cannot guarantee 100% perfection. This process can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks depending on the size.

  • Finishing Coats

Lastly, the finishing process can be an iterative process involving many sanding discs! Once the piece has cured, we pour a final top coating for extra shine, durability, and protection. This is one of the most labor-intensive parts and can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks.
